The club is very proud to announce the appointment of David O'Hare as our Senior Netball Coach for 2022.
David will be looking after our Jets team as they make another run in the top EFNL Division. The Jets team will be looking to push for finals again in 2022, after another Covid shutdown cut the 2021 season short.
David brings a wealth of netball experience and success over a long coaching career and will head up a great leadership group with Alkira Mullenger-McHugh as playing assistant and Morgan Wyatt and captain.
David has a long list of netball accomplishments including:
Coach of the Victorian Mixed Reserve team since 2016 - winning the last 4 consecutive National titles.
Netball Victoria Talent Academy Coach since 2020.
Head Netball Coach Upwey Tecoma Football Netball Club since 2019.
Ariels Rep. coach since 2013 (VNL Division 1 coach 2018, current coach M League
Men’s & Mixed Premier Division teams).
Head coach of the Australian Mixed team’s tour to Papua New Guinea In 2018 - the first Australian team to play series in PNG.
Head coach Australian Mens Reserve tour to New Zealand in 2019.
With the amalgamation with Rangeview Netball Club in 2019, the Netball arm of the club has grown significantly. The club is very excited about the netball pathway its created, with teams from NetSetGo right up to EFNL Division One and with a young senior group we're even more excited to see what David can do.
The club extends a very warm welcome to David and his family. We are very lucky to have him help out our Jetballers and we can’t wait to see what they achieve!
“We're very excited to have David on board, his experience and knowledge will be a huge asset to the Jets. The girls are very keen to get started” Jon, Netball Director.
The Jets kick off their season on Friday, April 1.
