Job Title: Head Coach of the Heathmont Netball Program (Part-time)
About the club: Heathmont Football Netball Club is a unique club within the EFNL, as we pride ourselves on being one of the only clubs with junior teams in the surrounding suburbs. The club is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled netball coach to join our team to help develop players’ skills, confidence, and passion for the game.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coaching one of our four senior teams
Facilitation of trainings inclusive of preseason.
Working closely with other coaches regarding strategical knowledge and development of player foundations and education.
Liaising with the operations manager and the Heathmont Football Netball Club
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all players during training and matches and adhering to relevant safety protocols when dealing with compilations that may arise.
Other ad hoc tasks such as administration may be required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in coaching netball with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of strategies and game sense.
Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to inspire and develop players of varying skill levels.
Working with Children’s Check is required or willing to obtain
Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications in netball are advantageous.
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Other skills:
Comprehensive interpersonal and communication skills, alongside the ability to effectively engage with players, parents, and other stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, including scheduling and administrative duties.
Previous experience playing netball of a competitive or elite nature
Working hours: Part-time inclusive of biweekly trainings and game days
Compensation: Competitive rate based on experience and qualifications.
